Exhibitions Jazz Festival
This year we will be hosting a dance contest at the Medford Jazz
Jubilee. There will be a new dance venue with some special events
planned with exhibitions throughout the day (all 3 days). All
local ballroom dance teachers have been notified and asked to
participate. We want to get a group interested in performing.
We will also going to need dance host both men and women this
year.
Why did you

This
year I want to hear from everyone what finally motivated them to start a
dance classes, and how it changed their lives. Please write and
tell us what started your love for dancing. You could motivate
someone and change their lives for the better.

Special $25 Private Lessons
Jerry and Jacob are offering 25 Minute private lessons. These
are for couples or singles. They currently have openings
for private lessons: Jerry has some Mondays and Thursdays
and Jacob has Tuesdays and Fridays.

Beginning Level 1 classes
are considered Introduction to Ballroom classes. Mondays we
teach 9 Ballroom Dances in the Beginning classes. We rotate
through the 9 dances, and our classes are continuous and on going.
A student can then start at any point, and not have to wait for a new

Dance Shoes
are available!
Due to a price increase
from my shoe supplier I will be increasing the price of some of the
shoes. Very Fine Shoes supplies me with 2 shoe lines.
One line is called the Standard and the other is the
Signature. The Standard line will remain the same
at $89, but the Signature line will reflect an increase to $99.
The Signature line encompasses all Party Party and
Classic shoes as well. We will also be charging and extra
$8.00 for all special orders. This price will take effect on
January 1, 2008.
Tell

classes. We have a catalog you can look at to see the styles.
On our website, and you can view the shoes. You can order
from that site and pay with paypal. You can order at
773-8568 usually between 2 and 6 most week days, Remember Darcy work
nights and does not take calls before 1:30 weekdays. You can also
contact her Monday or Wednesday evenings in dance class, or at the

The 2008
This
year the Jazz Jubilee will have a
special venue that will cater to the dancers. The Medford Jubilee
would like to feature dancers with short exhibitions no longer than 10
minutes. As representatives for the Jazz Festival Board, we will
be looking for dancers and groups who would like to perform at various
times on Friday and Saturday.
There will also be a
dance contest on Saturday afternoon with prizes. At this time many
of the details are still in the planning stage. We would like to
get feedback and find out how many dancers might be interested in
participating. This is a contest not a competition: don’t feel
intimidated if you don’t think you are the best dancer.
We will need dance host
both men and women again this year.
